3D Printing for Cosplay: A Maker’s Guide To Costume Details

Join us at the JSG Makerspace for a hands-on workshop dedicated to elevating your cosplay costume using 3D printing technology. In this session, you will learn how to create and find designs, slice, and print intricate costume accessories and details with our Bambu printers. 
What you’ll experience: 
The Fundamentals of 3D Modeling for Cosplay Wearables
Mastering the Bambu 3D Printer
Tool time: Safely explore makerspace equipment that will aid you in your cosplay 
Material magic: Get hands-on experience with glue guns, paint colors, costume cut-outs, foams, fabrics, wood, vinyl, etc. 
Technique: Master fundamental techniques such as cosplay costume fitting for masks, usage of foam and styrofoam for cosplay costumes, incorporating 3D printing accessories. 
Community connections: Meet fellow enthusiasts, share ideas, & build your cosplay network.
We will provide 3D printing tools but your costume’s accessories, detail ideas, and other materials are up to you!
